The mid-season update for Call of Duty: Warzone Season 5 is live now for all the platforms. With a plethora of new modes, maps, and events, there’s a ton of different content to explore in the latest version. While the new features are a welcome surprise for the Warzone players, at the same time, the weapon balance changes introduced in the Season 5 Reloaded update might disappoint some gamers. 

Following the Season 5 Reloaded patch release, the XM4 remains strong as it has been left untouched in the newest update. As the update was carrying many weapons nerfs and buffs, players might wonder what could be the best class setup for their beloved XM4 assault rifle. With that in mind, here is the best loadout for the XM4 after the Season 5 Reloaded update.

To get the most out of the XM4 assault rifle in Warzone Season 5 Reloaded, you will need to pick the perfect five attachments to get the job done.

The best XM4 loadout at the start of Warzone Season 5 Reloaded is:

• Muzzle: Agency Suppressor
• Barrel: 13.5” Task Force
• Optic: Microflex LED
• Underbarrel: Field Agent Grip
• Ammunition: 45 RND

To start off, we’ve gone with the Agency Supressor to reduce the bullet sound, increase the vertical recoil, bullet velocity and most importantly the effective damage range. However, the ADS speed and aiming stability is bit comprised while this attachment is equipped.

To further enhance the vertical and horizontal recoil control, we’ve decided to go with 13.5” Task Force for the barrel slot. Moreover, it also boosts the damage range and velocity at the cost of hip-fire accuracy and ADS speed.

The Field Agent Grip underbarrel attachment will give us more control over the weapon’s horizontal and vertical recoil at the cost of ADS speed. 

Finally, we’ve decided to use 45RND instead of 60 rounds as you don’t really need that many bullets to pin down your opponent. Since it already deals with massive damage, the 45 rounds in a single magazine is more than enough for you to exhibit dominance on the field.
