The Call of Duty fever is in full bloom with the launch of Call of Duty mobile's Season 7 and the upcoming Season 5 of Call of Duty Warzone. However, there's more on the horizon, especially as we steer towards the big holiday season when the highly anticipated Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 (2022) launches. 

To fuel everyone's anticipation, Activision has announced a massive showcase called Call of Duty: Next, a first of its kind, that will give us a comprehensive look at the future of Call of Duty. Here's everything you need to know about it, including details on where to watch and what to expect.

Call of Duty: Next is a live event that will take place on 15th September 2022. The event will be presented by Infinity Ward, the developer of the upcoming Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 (2022).

How to watch Call of Duty: Next 

While concrete details are yet to be made available, we assume the Call of Duty: Next event will be broadcasted on Call of Duty's official Youtube and Twitch channels (embedded below).

What to expect from Call of Duty: Next

The official Call of Duty website claims that Call of Duty: Next is an "era-defining franchise event" that will focus on the upcoming Call of Duty games. This includes Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 (2022), Call of Duty: Warzone 2, and the mobile version of Call of Duty: Warzone (Project Aurora).

Aside from info drop on all the aforementioned titles, you can expect live multiplayer gameplay of Modern Warfare 2 by some of the most notable Call of Duty streamers.  

The event will focus primarily on Modern Warfare 2's multiplayer, which means you can expect concrete details on launch maps, game modes, battle pass, and more. 

Infinity Ward also plans to reveal more info on certain aspects of Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 (2022) before the big event. You can expect this information to drop on Infinity Ward's official Youtube, Twitch, and Twitter accounts.
