The developer has rolled out a playlist update which sees Trios return to Battle Royale, after many players bemoaned its disappearance when Scopes and Scatter Guns arrived as a replacement.
Along with Trios, the update also added the highly-requested Duos. The Duos playlist however is only available in Plunder and replaces Plunder Quads.
While this might be testing the waters before Duos is rolled out in Battle Royale, the update hasn’t exactly gone down well - especially as their original tweet proclaimed they hear the community “loud and clear”.
Tonight’s playlist update is rolling out now across all platforms! BR Trios is back along with replacing Plunder Quads with Plunder Duos! #Warzonehttps://t.co/Kox49DKprh

So we’ll stay hopeful for the next update, we guess?
This weekend also sees double XP and double weapon XP in Call of Duty: Warzone, which begins Friday 17th April from 6pm BST and runs until Monday.
Call of Duty: Warzone celebrated having over 50 million players log into the title earlier this week, making it an enormous contender in the Battle Royale space.
