With an official multiplayer reveal coming on the 9th September, players will get a chance to try it out for themselves with an open beta. While there's no date set, early access is already being granted to those who pre-order the game digitally, however, there's more than one way to get into the Black Ops Cold War beta.
Viewers that tune in to the Call of Duty League Championship weekend, specifically on the 30th of August, will get a chance to earn a free code for the early access beta period of Black Ops Cold War, Activision confirmed.
"On Sunday, the Call of Duty League will randomly distribute 10,000 codes for the upcoming beta for the next instalment in the Call of Duty franchise — Call of Duty®: Black Ops Cold War," explained Activision.
