Leaks surrounding Warzone 2 are nothing new at this point and it seems we are getting to know new things about the title every day now. The recent bit of news comes via industry insider and prominent leaker Tom Henderson, who, in his recent tweet that Activision is hard at work in developing a secondary map for Call of Duty Warzone 2.

That's not all. Henderson even reveals that the new map will be on par with the Rebirth Island map in terms of scale. Furthermore, the leaker says that the game will add a new swimming mechanic as part of the gameplay. All this supposed information comes via one of Henderson's sources, who has reportedly participated in the upcoming title's playtest.

An official announcement is pending regarding the new map.

The sources say that the second map could be seen in the Warzone 2 menu itself, but it was not available during the playtest, meaning they were not able to check the map out for themselves. While no news about either the map's or Warzone 2's release has been shared by the developers, one of Henderson's sources had stated during a company-wide meeting that took place this year that, Warzone 2 was currently set for "a couple of months after MW2."

With COD Modern Warfare 2 all set to launch in the latter half of this year, if there aren't any delays, the chances of Warzone 2 getting a holiday release date are substantial. That said, it's highly unlikely Activision would launch two big-budget games back to back, especially with the not-so-good launch of Vanguard. That's everything we know about the COD Warzone 2 secondary map leak.
