The game mode actually debited in Verdansk back in Season 5 of last year and many folks around the community blasted compliments as the experience that was way more akin to a lifelike situation.
If you did not have the opportunity to test this game mode the first time around do not sweat as we will give you a quick guide of everything you will need to be prepared for when you play Iron Trials in Warzone Pacific.
New parameters for Iron Trials mode in Warzone Pacific
Iron Trails has essentially revamped the battle royale experience as it has toyed around with some of the health, damage and looting parameters that only the most elite operators will overcome.
Slower rounds will change the pace of the game that is often frenetic in Rebirth, the absence of free custom loadouts, less cash laying around and an increase of the Buy Station items are some of the drastic changes we will see every match.
Our operators are not the same either, as we will see our health increase drastically but not everything is good news as our health regeneration after being struck will severely diminish as well, so you may want to rethink your perks.
But if you thought that was it, think twice as our weapons and equipment will also suffer some modifications.
Weapon and Equipment changes for Iron Trials on Rebirth Island
Every single match will see all participants start with the same two weapons: The Top Break handgun and the Sawtooth melee weapon, which will give us a levelled playing field.
Aside from that, flankers will need to be more accurate than ever as the sniper rifles will be nerfed and will only down opponents in a single headshot if the enemy is within 30 metres.
Speaking of nerfs, the Stun Grenade will also suffer modifications in its effects as the stun effect will only last half of the time, while the Stim shot will also be less effective in regenerating health and the movement speed boost will also be reduced by more than half.
But that’s enough chit chat, brace yourself to face the most extreme version of Rebirth Island we have seen yet and we are sure you will have boatloads of fun.
