The former OpTic Gaming LA player entered free agency after two seasons with the team, and has now reunited with his former teammate Seth “Scump” Abner on the Chicago Huntsmen line-up.
“Wanna thank the boys for this opportunity,” Dashy wrote on Twitter. “Seriously can’t wait to be the best possible player/teammate for these guys!!”
His move was highly expected since his departure from OpTic Gaming LA, although at least it’s now been officially confirmed.
This means the starting line-up for Chicago Huntsmen is now looking particularly strong - joining Matthew “FormaL” Piper and Dylan “Envoy” Hannon who had their contracts extended.
Dashy joins the Huntsmen following the departure of brothers Alec “Arcitys” Sanderson and Preston “Prestinni” Sanderson - with the 2021 season switching to a 4v4 format.

Dashy ascended to superstar status during the Black Ops 4 season where he won his first major trophy, but this didn’t continue with 2020’s Modern Warfare - where the high-profile talent on OpTic Gaming LA’s squad failed to achieve tournament wins.
Whether reuniting with Scump will see his spark return remains to be seen, but Chicago Huntsmen are certainly looking a formidable squad heading into the era of Black Ops Cold War.
