How to get Call of Duty Vanguard beta access for free

Call of Duty Vanguard is the latest title from the legendary franchise and will take players back to the battlefields of World War II. Understandably, many fans cannot wait for the game's release later this year. Activision recently announced that players will be able to obtain early access to the game via beta codes, as well as a new map and anti-cheat system for Warzone.

How to get early access to Call of Duty Vanguard beta

If you want to stand a chance to get Early Access to Call of Duy Vanguard then you will need to watch the CDL Championships 2021.

Before you do this, make sure you first complete these steps:

1. Create an Activision account if you don't have one already
2. Link your Activision Account to your YouTube Account
3. Watch the CDL Championship Weekend on YouTube while being signed in to earn rewards

The CDL Championships will take place from Friday, August 19th through to Sunday, August 22nd from 19:30 BST.

CDL Championship reward drops

You can earn several guaranteed rewards from watching the CDL Championships, including Double XP, Zed & PaulEhx Weapon Stickers, CDL Champs 2021 XM4 Skin and Battle Pass Double XP, which drop after watching for a certain period of time.

Fans that watch throughout Saturday may stand a chance to receive a CDL 2021 Champs Pack code drop.

COD Vanguard beta code drop

In order to get the Call of Duty Vanguard beta code drop, fans must watch the Championship throughout Sunday, which starts at 19:00 BST.

This is a randomized drop and only 25,000 beta codes will be given out. Winners that are lucky enough to receive a beta code will also receive an extra beta code to share with a friend.

Winners will receive a notification via the CDL website and COD Companion app which will confirm their beta Code. This campaign is currently only active on YouTube so Twitch viewers won't be able to benefit from drops at this time.

With that said, Activision could link up with Twitch influencers like NICKMERCS or TimTheTatman to run influencer-driven campaigns.

Otherwise, players that pre-order either the Standard ($59.99), Cross-Gen Bundle ($69.99) or Ultimate ($99.99) Editions of Call of Duty Vanguard will be granted early access to the game.

It's not known exactly when the Call of Duty Vanguard beta will begin although we speculate that it should kick off around the first week of October.

Call of Duty Vanguard is slated to release on November 5th 2021 across all major gameplay platforms.
