How To Unlock The FSS Hurricane In MW2 Beta

Fans are finally starting to get their hands on Call of Duty Modern Warfare 2 through its ongoing beta. PlayStation players have had some hands-on time with it, and it's time for Xbox and PC players to try some of the new game modes (like Prisoner Rescue), maps, and weapons that are coming to the much-awaited sequel.

One of the prominent changes that Call of Duty Modern Warfare 2 makes is to the game's Gunsmith mode. As such, whether you're new to Call of Duty or a veteran player, you may have trouble figuring out how exactly to unlock new weapons, in particular the FSS Hurricane.

How to unlock FSS Hurricane in Call of Duty Modern Warfare 2

Unlike in 2019's CoD Modern Warfare, simply leveling up won't unlock new weapons. In Modern Warfare 2, players will have to level up specific weapon types to unlock more weapons in that tree line. The FSS Hurricane is part of the M4 tree. 

To unlock the FSS Hurricane in Call of Duty Modern Warfare 2, players will have to reach level 13 with the M4. At level 13, players will unlock the FTAC Recon, which they would have to rank up to level 16 to unlock the FSS Hurricane. 

FSS Hurricane is the SMG variant of the M4 and is a decent choice for players who prefer fast-paced combat over slow precision.

Once players have unlocked the FSS Hurricane in COD MW 2, they can customize its various attributes in the new and overhauled Gunsmith.
