And to add to that, an update has been rolled out on 12th October that has introduced two WW2 era weapons from the next game in the franchise, Call of Duty: Vanguard.
Those two guns are the M1 Garand semi-automatic rifle and the STG 44 assault rifle and both are available now for you to tear up Verdansk with.
If you want to get your hands on them, here is how you can.

M1 Garand and STG 44 - Warzone Season 6
As an official tease for Call of Duty: Vanguard, set to drop later this year, Activision is giving players a first-hand feel at the upcoming gameplay. Now available in Warzone Season 6, gamers can unlock the M1 Garand and STG 44 which will feature as part of Vanguard, and eventually Warzone's, weapon pool.
Available through the battle pass, gamers can level up to the fourth tier and unlock one of the new COD Vanguard blueprints.
There are two weapon blueprints for each Vanguard weapon that will be unlocked at various tiers of the Season 6 Battle Pass.
The tiers for unlocking are as follows:
- Bonerattler Assault Rifle - (STG 44) - Tier 24
- Warning Track Assault Rifle - (STG 44) - Tier 64
- White Obsidian Tactical Rifle - (M1 Garand) - Tier 34
- Heirloom Tactical Rifle - (M1 Garand) - Tier 72
An interesting point to note is that gamers will not be able to edit anything on these Vanguard weapons blueprints until the full release of Vanguard later in the year. In other words, the gunsmith and attachments for the M1 Garand and STG 44 are locked, and players will not be able to customize them at this time.

The content is steadily flowing for Season 6 of the ultra-popular battle royale. Make sure to stay up to date with our official Call of Duty tab for all the latest game news and updates.
