Warzone’s competitive scene hasn’t exactly been at its peak over the last couple of months, in particular, because of the current troublesome state of the game, plagued with cheaters and hackers.
There haven’t been many big third-party tournaments like it used to be before but if you are craving for some top-tier Warzone esports action, the World Series of Warzone is without a doubt the best thing you can get.
After two successful Trios events, it’s time for Duos tournaments. And to kick things off, we are heading to Europe in mid-September.
Here’s how to watch the Twitch Rivals x World Series of Warzone Duos Europe tournament and everything else that’s important about the event!
Twitch Rivals x World Series of Warzone Duos EU schedule
The open qualifier for Duos EU has been completed on 22nd August.
The main tournament will be a 2-day event.
Day 1(14th September) – A draft phase where team captains will select their players and duos for the Captain’s Cup, starting at 5 pm CET / 11 am ET / 8 am PT.
Day 2 (15th September) – Teams will play 6 matches to decide the winner, starting at 5 pm CET / 11 am ET / 8 am PT.
WSOW Duos EU format
As the name of the tournament suggests, this will be a Duos tournament.
Here are the basic rules of the event:
- Game Mode: Battle Royale Duos (private lobby)
- No. of Games: 6 Games
- Scoring Format
- Teams earn points during each game based on placement and kill. Teams are ultimately ranked based on their cumulative score.
- Scoring Structure
- 1st: 2x Point Multiplier
- 2nd – 15th: 1.5x Point Multiplier
- 16th+: 1x Point Multiplier
- Ranking + Tiebreakers
- Total Number of Victories
- Total Number of Eliminations
- Average Placement in All Games
- Placement in the last game of the tournament

Captain’s Cup
Each of the five captains will engage in a 9-round live draft via snake draft that is complete when there are five teams of 10 duos (or 30 total players per team). Each captain’s team will be scored based on the aggregate point total of its10 duos (like a fantasy draft). The performance of each of the five teams will determine their share of the Captain’s Cup prize pool.

The team captains for the World Series of Warzone Duos Europe event are now officially announced and they are Danucd, Moonryde, Gotaga, Recrent, and Jukeyz.

Just like the previous events in the series, the EU Duos event boasts an impressive $300,000 prize pool.

WSOW $100K SoloYolo Drop
Immediately upon the completion of WSOW Duos Europe, all 150 players are invited to participate in the SoloYolo – winner-takes-all with $100,000 on the line!
- All WSOW Duos Europe participants are invited to drop into a single match in Verdansk as Solos
- The winner of the SoloYolo is the last participant alive
- Kills will not be taken into account for scoring purposes
- The winner of the #SoloYolo will individually receive $100,000
WSOW Trios NA stream: How to watch?
For the purpose of broadcasting, Activision is joining forces with Twitch Rivals, and the tournament will be broadcasted live on the official Twitch Rivals channel and the personal channels of the participating content creators.
The broadcast will start at 6 pm CET / 12 pm ET / 9 am PT.
