Whether you prefer to finish up the campaign of a game before diving into the online multiplayer or want to use the NPC enemies as target practice, here’s what you need to know about getting into the Modern Warfare 2 campaign early.
Modern Warfare 2 Campaign Release Date
Those who have successfully pre-ordered their digital copy of Modern Warfare 2 will be able to access the campaign from October 20 at 10 am PST (1 pm EST / 6 pm BST). If you have pre-ordered a physical copy of Modern Warfare 2, you will be able to play the campaign on October 28, the same day as the game’s official release.
The campaign itself is said to feature missions from various locations worldwide, including Europe, America, and Asia. These said missions will feature underwater combat, stealthy assassinations, and much more. It is well worth pre-ordering the game if you plan to purchase it on release in order to get access to the great campaign a whole week early!
It was also possible to get access to the beta by pre-ordering the digital copy of Modern Warfare 2, but as that has long since ended, the only benefit now is access to the early campaign.
Additionally, pre-ordering the Vault Edition will give players access to four multiplayer operators (Ghost, Farah, Price, and Soap), the FJX Ciner Weapon Vault, and the Season 1 Battle Pass with 50 Tier Skips.
