With the launch of Season 6 across both Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 (MW2) and Warzone 2, there’s plenty of new content and features set to arrive in each game. Some of the content will be available immediately at launch, while some will arrive later in the season.
Across both the multiplayer and battle royale, players will have new Operators to unlock and use. In addition, certain maps and modes will be getting some updates to bring some fresh life to the current gameplay. But over on Modern Warfare 2, players can look forward to the arrival of four new multiplayer maps at launch.
The new maps range from some familiar scenes to brand new experiences across Core maps and Gunfight. Below, we’ve detailed each of the upcoming multiplayer maps in Modern Warfare 2 Season 6.
Modern Warfare 2 Season 6: All New Multiplayer Maps Listed
La Casa
- Core Map
- Available at launch
La Casa is a brand new map, designed by Infinity Ward, set in the center of Las Almas, Mexico. Players can expect to see high walls, plenty of cover, and a luxurious estate in which to move through.
Koro Village
- Core Map
- Available at launch
Veteren Call of Duty players might be familiar with Koro Village, particularly if they’ve been playing as early as Call of Duty 2 (2005). A Multiplayer map called “Toujane” had a very similar layout to that of the upcoming Koro Village, but this times things are a little frostier.
King
- Gunfight Map
- Available at launch
King is a Gunfightn map that makes its return from Call of Duty: Modern Warfare (2019). This warehouse is looking a little worse for wear, with overgrown weeds and graffiti tags throughout. Look for cover around the many containers in this map to stay out of sight.
Fight
- Gunfight Map
- Available at launch
Fight is perfect for those close-quarters encounters. Set in a firing range, players will be making the most of the skills when moving through shoot houses on the ground or with elevated plays. You’ll need to be quick to take control in this cosy map.
