Warzone devs respond to return of invisible skins, a fix is imminent

Raven Software is aware of reports regarding Wraith and Weavers Dark Aether skins appearing invisible in Warzone Pacific, so players could hopefully expect a fix soon.
Warzone devs respond to return of invisible skins, a fix is imminent

Merely days after Raven Software released a patch to the "pay-to-win" Francis Operator "Awoke" invisible skin glitch, Warzone Pacific players began to complain about new invisible skin bugs ruining their games. While some bugs, such as the rainbow colour texture glitch, might be favourably received by players, this particular bug was certainly not. Worse of all, the skins weren't even new additions to the game.

In a Twitter post on 10th January, Raven Software said they are "aware of the reports that certain skins are appearing invisible in Warzone." The developers also added the bug to their public Trello board, noting that they are currently investigating the issue.

Raven Software did not advise on the timeframe to resolve the issue. At the time of writing, it's been a little over 12 hours since the developers acknowledged player complaints; however, since the bug is nothing new, players could expect a fix sooner rather than later.

According to Modern Warzone, two known invisible skins are wreaking havoc in Warzone Pacific; chiefly, the Wraith and Weavers Dark Aether skins.

While it may have been ambitious asking Raven Software to "drop a fix to this with tomorrow's update," players can't use either of these skins in the Vanguard Royale game mode in Warzone.

However, one Twitter user said that they've also seen the glitch on a Krueger skin, which isn't very inspiring. In addition, some players have grappled with other game-breaking bugs, including console crashes, as well as the occasional run-in with hackers.

Some players are less understanding about the presence of bugs and have been quick to criticise the developers for their "broken" game, prompting many to turn to other battle royale titles, like Apex Legends.

So, with that said; hopefully, Raven Software can resolve the slew of bugs quickly amid the mass exodus of its players.
