To usher in Caldera, however, Verdansk needs to get destroyed. Following the Secrets of Pacific event, Warzone players will say one final goodbye to the map, via the End of Verdansk event.
Here's everything we know so far about the End of Verdansk event, including the expected start date, time and what could go down.
When does the End of Verdansk event begin?
In November, the developers delayed the release of Warzone Pacific Season 1, as well as the first season of COD Vanguard.

The End of Verdansk event was initially supposed to release on 30th November or 1st December, a day or two ahead of Warzone Pacific Season 1.
While no official start date has been announced, we expect the destruction to begin on 7th December. Further, going by previous Warzone events, we can make an educated guess that the start time could be roughly 18:00 BST.
We will update this article once the exact start date and time for Warzone's End of Verdansk event are revealed.
What to expect in Warzone's End of Verdansk
At the time of writing, we really don't know what to expect for Warzone's End of Verdansk event. We do know it is being created by developer Beenox and judging by that time a Nuke was dropped on the map to usher in Verdansk 84, we think it might just be explosive.

The only official information so far is one line from Activision, which reads: "expect a spectacular and fitting end to your time in Verdansk as we say farewell to the Kastovian city… forever?"
The event has also been called "Last Hours of Verdansk" and if past events are anything to go by, we do expect challenges for players to complete to earn rewards, such as weapon blueprints, emblems and more.
We will endeavour to update this article once the developers confirm more details about Warzone's End of Verdansk event, so stay tuned!
