Warzone LMG tier list - Every Light Machine Gun ranked from best to worst for Pacific Season 3

Warzone Pacific Season 3's update has brought a lot of changes to the game, from the additions of new guns, and existing weapons getting balance changes, to map changes and new operators entering the fray.

Since the weapons have been tweaked, you might want to know the sitrep on the best LMGs (light machine guns) in the game, or you might want to know which one you should try in your next loadout. If so, we have you covered today with our tiered list of every light machine gun ranked from best to worst for Call of Duty Warzone Pacific Season 3.

Call of Duty Warzone Pacific Season 3 LMG tier list

Light machine guns are hybrids between assault rifles and machine guns. offering high damage output and high rates of fire, all while sporting a large clip for mowing down your foes. These are the ideal weapons for those who excel in mid-long range fights and can handle the kickback of the LMGs.

If you want to start using one of these weapons or want to know what the best one will be for Warzone Pacific Season 3, below is our tier description and list for all the LMGs that you can try.

Tier rank description:

• S-Tier: LMGs ranked here can dominate the competition without any modifications, but you can add them to make the weapon even more overpowered.

• A-Tier: An A-tier LMG will be able to hold its own against the S-tier weapons with some attachments and will be a suitable choice for your loadout.

• B-Tier: This will be the middle ground for the LMG class of weapons and while they can be decent with modification, there are better choices to pick from if possible, but they can be good backups. 

• C-Tier: These are the least viable choices for an LMG user, there are better options to choose from, but if you are very desperate, these can work.

• D-Tier: This is the worst choice for an LMG as you will be struggling to control or use this weapon effectively, we don't recommend these to anyone.

NOTE: When compiling this list we have taken into account the balance changes made in the Warzone Pacific Season 3 update. And while our listing is not an exact science, we strive to provide the most accurate listing humanly possible.

S-Tier LMGs- Warzone Pacific Season 3

• PKM

• MG42 (Vanguard)

• Bren (Vanguard) 

Initially, the Bren rose from the bottom to claim a top spot in the S-tier, with its high damage over distance capabilities and reliable performance. Unfortunately, the weapon has been nerfed in the new season update.

While we are not sure how the nerf will affect our listing, until we can see the weapon in action and review it further, we will have it remain in the top spot as the LMG of choice along with the MG42.

A-Tier LMGs- Warzone Pacific Season 3s

• Bruen MK9

• DP27 (Vanguard)

• Whitley (Vanguard) **changes

The DP27 dominates the A tier of LMGs but the Whitley has also been in the running as the top dog of this category, at least until now. With the new update nerfing the Whitley, we are curious to see how it performs.

Whether the Whitley will fall down the list or hold its own against the classic DP27 remains to be seen, but we will update this listing as soon as we have the grounds to do so.

B-Tier LMGs- COD Warzone Pacific Season 3

• SA87

• Type 11 (Vanguard)

The Type 11 LMG still holds its place in the B-tier, being fairly solid as a starting match weapon until you can find another to use. We can fully recommend it, but if you need to use it, it can get the job done for a while.

C-Tier LMGs- COD Warzone Pacific Season 3

• Holger-26

• Stoner 63 (Light Machine Gun Alpha)

• MG 82

• RAAL MG

The Stoner 63 and MG 82 still stand in this tier thanks to their insane weight and unstable recoil patterns. They outshine the others in this tier, but that doesn't say much when you can barely run with them.

D-Tier LMGs- COD Warzone Pacific Season 3

• M60

• MG34

• FiNN LMG

• M91

Finally, these LMGs aren't even worth considering. They are Heavy, have terrible control, and don't offer anything unique to their load-outs. You should give these a hard pass.
