The kernel-level driver for Warzone players on PC has been released as part of the larger Ricochet anti-cheat system. Here's how you can check if it's on your PC.

Back in October 2021, Activision fully unveiled the Ricochet anti-cheat system for Call of Duty: Warzone. We all that the popular battle royale has been plagued by cheaters, and this continued with the release of Warzone Pacific Season 1.

While there are already server-side anti-cheat aspects of Ricochet active since the release of COD Vanguard, the full anti-cheat package didn't even make the launch of Warzone Pacific Season 1, which means cheaters are running around in Caldera.

The kernel-level driver, according to reports, is now active on PCs for those in North America following a small update for PC on Battle.net. The news broke at roughly 07:00 GMT on 15th December.

Ricochet is a "multi-faceted approach to combat cheating" which is supported "by a team of dedicated professionals focused on fighting unfair play."

That's the first layer of protection. The second one is the kernel-level driver for this anti-cheat system, running on your PC and is required to play Warzone.

How to check for Warzone kernel-level driver?

If you want to find out if the Warzone kernel-level driver (also possibly on Vanguard right now) is on your PC, running in the background, then you can do so with a few quick steps.
