Following the release of the Call of Duty: Vanguard and Warzone Season 4 roadmap, aptly titled Mercenaries of Fortune, players were pleasantly surprised by the expansive menu of new content additions.
Among the slew of changes were brand-new Operators, game modes, a rework of the Caldera map, and four new weapons: the UGM-8 LMG, Marco 5 SMG, Push Dagger Melee, and Vargo-S Assault Rifle.
As an essential armament for most players, the Vargo stood out as a potentially strong and versatile meta weapon, offering a high-fire rate, steady aim, and fast reload speed before any Gunsmith attachments. So here’s how to unlock the Vargo-S Assault Rifle in Call of Duty: Vanguard and Warzone Pacific Season 4 Reloaded.
Vargo-S Unlock – Vanguard & Warzone Season 4 Reloaded
According to the official Call of Duty blog post, players can unlock the Vargo-S Assault Rifle in one of two ways: by completing an in-game weapon-based challenge or purchasing a Store Bundle featuring a Weapon Blueprint from this weapon’s family.

Players must complete this easy challenge in Vanguard or Warzone Season 4 Reloaded: Get 15 Close Range Kills to unlock the Vargo-S. Players can use any gun in any game mode to complete this challenge; we recommend playing on high-density maps like Shipment, where close-quarters combat is ubiquitous.
