Call of Duty: Vanguard and Warzone players can be prepared to capitalize on several new items and tactical opportunities presented on the battlefield this season. The fifth season, entitled "Last Stand," boasts a new Doomsday Station, Supply Box Killstreak, and Rage Serum Field Upgrade, each offering a massive advantage to players in matches.

So if you want to know more about these new tools to include with your arsenal of weapons in Warzone and Vanguard Season 5 ahead of the season's release on 24th August 2022, then look no further. This guide details everything you need to know.

Warzone & Vanguard Season 5 - All New Items Explained

There are several new items and tactical opportunities for players to explore in Warzone and Vanguard Season 5. As the official blog post highlighted, these include the new Doomsday Station, Supply Box UAV, Personal Supply Box, and Rage Serum.

We've detailed everything you need to know about them below. We will endeavor to have more information about how best to use these items once Warzone and Vanguard Season 5 officially begins in future guides.

Doomsday Station

The Doomsday Station is a seismic device that players can find on Caldera. Once triggered, AI soldiers will be deployed; stay near and defend the station to earn powerful items during the match. Rewards are lootable by anyone in-game, regardless of who activated the station.

There might be several possible spawn locations; however, only one Doomsday Station will appear per game. Players must pay $10,000 in-game Cash to activate it.

Supply Box UAV

Supply Box UAV is a new Killstreak that players can activate to help them track down more items in Warzone and Vanguard Season 5. Once activated, it will mark unopened Supply Boxes in the vicinity on the Tac Map for 20 seconds. This Killstreak can be found in Supply Boxes or purchased at a Buy Station for $3,000 Cash.

Update: Activating three or more Supply Box UAV in a short amount of time will activate an Advanced Supply Box UAV resulting in a much stronger effect.

Supply Box types are represented by color:

  • Blue = Standard Supply Box
  • Orange = Legendary Supply Box
  • Red = Resurgence Supply Box
  • Pink = Personal Supply Box

Personal Supply Box

On the other hand, Personal Supply Boxes are "extremely rare crates with the assistance of the Supply Box UAV" that players can use to unlock their favorite Loadout weapons in Warzone. It also offers each squad member a massive XP bonus.

Update: This unique Supply Box will spawn a Player’s “Favorite” Loadout Weapons and reward the Player with 2,000 XP.

Rage Serum

Finally, Rage Serum is a new Field Upgrade that makes players become "violently unstable," offering boosts to damage, lunge distance, and stun power while fighting with Melee weapons or fists. As a caveat, however, Operators affected by Rage Serum "become louder, and seems to recoil with more confusion while stunned or flashed."

Update: The effects are indicated below per the official patch notes

Positive effects include:

  • Movement Speed increased by 8% 
  • Damage with Melee Weapons or while Unarmed increased by 50%
  • Lunge Distance increased to 3.2 meters, up from 1.4 meters while standing
  • Melee Stun Power increased by 50%

Negative effects include:

  • Players have a louder presence 
  • Visible "Rage" effects on the Operator
  • Stun & Flash Vulnerability increased by 40%
  • This effect can be countered by the Battle Hardened perk.
