Warzone & Vanguard Season 5 - How To Unlock EX1 Energy Rifle

The fifth and final season of Call of Duty: Vanguard and Warzone, "Last Stand," features five new weapons for players to add to their armaments, including the new RA 225 SMG, Valois Revolver, BP50, and Lienna 57 Assault Rifles. There's also the EX1 prototype Energy Rifle, released at the start of Season 5.

How to get EX1 Energy Rifle in Vanguard & Warzone Season 5

As mentioned, the EX1 Energy Rifle will be available at the launch of Call of Duty: Vanguard and Warzone Season 5. Like the RA 225 SMG, players can unlock the EX1 Energy Rifle for free by reaching Tier 15 of the Season 5 Battle Pass.

According to the official blog post, the EX1 Energy Rifle "leaves behind traditional ballistics in favor of a customizable battery system used to power its attacks." It's also described as an "effective at long range" gun with unlimited ammo.

Instead of ammo, the EX1 Energy Rifle will have a charge mechanic that requires a "cooling off period after depleting its charge capacity." So be careful not to get caught out while "reloading." Beyond this, the EX1 will be a favorable long-range weapon for players looking for an alternative to traditional weapons like Sniper Rifles.

Moreover, it's also fully customizable via the Gunsmith, allowing players to fully embrace the EX1's destructive potential in Season 5 of Warzone and Vanguard.
