Here's the release date for Clash Royale Season 17 and what you can expect, including a new Pass Royale and more.
Clash Royale Season 17: Release date and what to expect

With Season 16 coming to an end soon, we take a look at the Clash Royale Season 17 release date, and what players can possibly expect from Supercell's mobile sensation in the upcoming season.

Clash Royale Season 17 Release Date

Looking at the current in-game Pass Royale timer, you can expect Clash Royale Season 17 to release 2nd November at 07:00 GMT.

There will likely be some server downtime as Supercell gets the new Pass Royale ready. However, the release date for Clash Royale Season 17 is all-but-confirmed as 2nd November 2020.

Pass Royale & Balance Changes

The Pass Royale for Season 17 should release on 2nd November as well since there have never been days between Pass Royale offerings.

The Pass Royale will, as always, feature a free and Elite version, with the latter requiring players to open their wallets for some great rewards.

Clash Royale Season 17's Pass Royale should include a new tower skin, possibly some emotes, as well as benefits including the following for the paid version:

  • Unlimited re-entries and continues for Special Challenges
  • Automatic chest unlocking
  • Strikes for all Pass Royale & Crown Chests
  • An exclusive Pass Royale golden name
  • Gifts for all Clanmates

At the time of writing, Supercell has not yet confirmed the theme for Clash Royale Season 17, nor if there will be a new card.

Judging by the past seasons, you can also expect some balance changes with Clash Royale Season 17. Balance changes should release a few days after Season 17 releases.
