With the release of COD: Mobile Season 2, the day of reckoning has not come for the long-standing Black Screen issue. Instead, it appears players on certain mobile devices are still experiencing the COD: Mobile Black Screen issue, as well as stuttering and even some crashes. These issues are still being reported despite a massive list of changes and bug fixes in the Season 2 patch notes.

For some COD: Mobile players, the longstanding Black Screen issue is still ruining their experience in Season 2.

There's also stuttering and crashing issues, which doesn't seem to be widespread and pertains to using Operator skills in the game.

Affected devices include many Xiaomi, Asus and Samsung phones as well as some tablets. Devices that seem to be the worst-hit by the COD: Mobile Black Screen issue include Samsung Galaxy A71 and Poco X3 NFC.

While there's no official fix or even a mention of an incoming fix from Activision yet, we've got some suggested actions you can take in the next section.

There's no official fix for the COD: Mobile Season 2 Black Screen issue. However, since the Winter War update, players have been reporting the issue and sharing some potential fixes.

On Android and iOS devices, the following fixes might work in COD: Mobile Season 2 to make that Black Screen and stuttering issues a thing of the past:

  • Shut down your device and reboot it completely.
  • Update your device to the latest software version.
  • Update your COD: Mobile app if you haven't recently.
  • Clear your COD: Mobile app cache.
  • Delete and reinstall the game.

While these basic fixes could work for you, not everyone is having the same luck, and some are getting Black Screen and stuttering issues in COD: Mobile Season 2 every couple of matches.
