Here's the upcoming content set to release throughout COD Mobile Season 5, from a brand-new event to new maps and the Shorty shotgun.

With COD Mobile Season 5 "In Deep Water" went live for all players across all regions on 28th June 2021, featuring a shiny new Battle Pass, a map and the K9 Unit, to name but a few pieces of content, there's already a lot to experience. However, there is also some more content coming your way throughout the latest season. If you are wondering where the other two maps are, or when a new event will begin, we've got you covered with the COD Mobile Season 5 roadmap, featuring the content coming to the game in July 2021.

COD Mobile Season 5 content roadmap

Not everything we saw in the trailers and teases has been released at the start of COD Mobile Season 5. Instead, players are getting a bit of a drip-feed in terms of content. First up, only one of the three maps are out right now, and only the CR-56 AMAX has been released, as players might be wondering where the Shorty (725) shotgun is. 

While Activision has not revealed the exact release dates for most of the upcoming content, we do have some release date windows to share.

Activision notes in the latest community update on Reddit that this is "just a glimpse" of what is to come.

Early July content:

  • Docks map (Gunfight)
  • Cranked: Confirmed mode
  • Sea of Steel event

Mid-July content:

  • Shorty (725) shotgun (via seasonal challenge)
  • Ground Mission mode
  • Dinosaur Charm (via credit store)

Late July content:

  • Aniyah Incursion MP map
  • New BR class - Rewind

We already have a Cranked: Confirmed guide up for you to browse. This new MP mode will run from 2nd to 8th July 2021. We've also got a look at the upcoming maps, and a guide to playing the Ground Mission mode starting mid-July.

While the exact release dates for these new pieces of content are not confirmed at the time of writing, we can't help but wonder how the Shorty (725) shotgun will shake up our tier list for Season 5. It will also be exciting to see which rewards we can unlock during the Sea of Steel event, so there's a whole lot to get excited about.
