With the arrival of Call of Duty Mobile Season 8: Train To Nowhere, were set for a massive wave of new content, updates, and game modes to enjoy. One of these is the all-new themed event called Operation Spy Hunt, and if you're keen on jumping into it as soon as possible, then this guide is for you.

Below we'll be breaking down everything regarding how to play the Operation: Spy Hunt event in Season 8 of Call of Duty Mobile. From the rules for the event, to the rewards you'll get for competing, adn more.

First and foremost, the Operation: Spy Hunt event is an event that will span across both multiplayer and battle royale modes during Call of Duty Mobile Season 8. During this event, players will "Become a spy and get rewarded for the intel you bring back to base".

As described in the official Call of Duty Mobile blog post, this sees players gather information by participating in multiplayer and battle royale matches. Then, use that information to uncover enemy information and earn rewards like the Lerch — Gumshoe, the GKS — Claw, and the Charm — Servant of Doom.

As you play through the event, there will also be allied informants who change their position on the intel board that you can find in-game. If you intercept information to one side of the informant, you will automatically receive a discount for intercepting information on the other end. Make the most of the informants to speed up the collection of information as you make your way through each round.

There is also a Battle Royale Special Task that will be available during the event. Here, you'll be tasked with taking out particular Battle Royale foes, and you will receive more hints if you successfully take them out.

You will also gain access to a special tracking ability that will temporarily ping your target's location on the map by earning eliminations and assists throughout the match. But keep in mind that they will be informed of their exposed position, so brace yourself for a fight if you corner them after they've been located.
