COD: Mobile SMG tier list - Every sub-machine gun ranked from best to worst for Season 4

COD: Mobile Season 4 brings new maps, modes and a shiny new Battle Pass, new events and more. It also brings some drastic weapon balance changes, which is why a brand-new submachine gun (SMG) tier list is absolutely necessary for Season 4. In our SMG tier list for COD: Mobile Season 4, we rank all the SMGs in the game from best to worst.

With Season 4, the developer strengthened the close quarter's abilities of SMGs with increased mobility and damage, while optimized bullet trajectory so they are viable weapons at longer distances as well. Our submachine gun tier list takes all the weapon rebalancing into consideration.  

COD: Mobile Season 4 Submachine Gun tier list 

There's already a total of 14 SMGs in the game, since COD: Mobile Season 4 didn't add any new ones in this weapon class.

Please note: This SMG tier list is accurate at the launch of COD: Mobile Season 4, and the developer might release more balance changes throughout the season.

Tier lists are not an exact science. However, this list does give you a good idea of the power rankings when it comes to submachine guns at the start of COD: Mobile Season 4, as we take all the balance changes into consideration. 

Description of the tiers

We have opted for a standard five-tier system, S to D.

S-Tier: The absolute best SMGs in COD: Mobile Season 4 which can melt the faces off opponents with ease.

A-Tier: With a great loadout these Submachine Guns could go toe-to-toe against the S-Tier.

B-Tier: These SMGs are very capable with a perfect loadout that fits your playstyle.

C-Tier: This SMG tier absolutely requires you to use a perfect loadout. While these SMGs have some downsides, they can still work well.

D-Tier: The trash tier. You would be much better off using one of the other SMGs in this list.

With the broad explainer out of the way, let's dive into the SMG rankings for COD: Mobile Season 4.

CODM SMG tier list: Ranked from best to worst

Below, we've ranked all 14 SMG options for the start of COD: Mobile Season 2 from best to worst, kicking things off with the S-Tier weapons which can melt opponents in mere seconds.

S-Tier SMGs:

• QXR
• PP-19 Bizon
• Razorback

The QXR was already one of the best SMGs in Season 3, and with three buffs making it even better at different combat ranges, the SMG now tops our list, followed by the PP-19 Bizon released in the previous season, and the ever-popular Razorback.

A-Tier SMGs:

• QQ9
• MSMC
• Fennec

The QQ9 dropped one tier to make way for the QXR, while the Fennec remains popular. The MSMC makes its way into the A-Tier SMGs for COD: Mobile Season 4 thanks to some great buffs.

B-Tier SMGs:

• GKS
• AGR 556
• HG 40
• PDW 57

The HG 40 slides into the B-Tier thanks to some great buffs. The B-Tier SMGs in our rankings can still work well with the perfect loadout.

C-Tier SMGs:

• RUS-79U
• Pharo

If you are adamant about using one of the C-Tier SMGs, find the perfect loadout to compliment your playstyle.

D-Tier SMGs:

• Chicom
• Cordite

It is advisable to stay clear of the D-Tier SMGs, as they are quite underpowered compared to the S and A-Tier SMGs in our COD: Mobile Season 4 rankings.
