It's not a secret that Saudi Arabian esports organization, Team Falcons, has built a Counter-Strike 2 (CS2)  esports superteam, but why stop there? That's where Maxim "kyousuke" Lukin comes into play, voted as

Since the rise of Danil "donk" Kryshkovets, there have been no hotter prospects than Team Spirit's academy player, the 17-year-old Russian prodigy,  Maxim "kyousuke" Lukin. That's why it comes as no surprise that Team Falcons might want to pick up the superstar before another team beats them to the punch.

After some industry rumors started floating around earlier this year, Sheep Esports reported that Team Falcons has come to an agreement with Team Spirit for the kyousuke transfer.

Taking to X, the highly credible source Guillaume "neL" Rathier, confirmed as much, and noted that kyousuke will only head to Team Falcons after the BLAST.tv Austin Major:

It seems that this transfer won't take place before the Major. It seems that Falcons have scouted the market but Spirit has agreed to let his prodigy go, despite the fact that he had been eagerly awaited by many in the Russian organization's main roster since the end of last year.

Falcons and his staff will have plenty of work ahead of them to accommodate all these stars and the little Russian wonderkid, as the roles are not so easy to fit together on paper.

It appears that Danish legend  Emil "Magisk" Reif will be moved to the bench.

If the reports are indeed accurate, the Team Falcons lineup should look a little something like this in the middle of this year.

  • Damjan “kyxsan” Stoilkovski
  • René “TeSeS” Madsen
  • Nikola “NiKo” Kovač
  • Ilya “m0NESY” Osipov
  • Maksim "kyousuke" Lukin

While the roster looks incredible on paper, I, for one, cannot help but wonder if this is just a bit too much star power...Let's face it, there are only five heads to click per round!
