After the completion of the regular season, followed by the Showdown event, the BLAST Premier Fall 2020 Finals are set to begin on 8th December. It is sure to be an event CS:GO esports fans do not want to miss out on. We've got you covered with a viewer's guide to the BLAST Premier Fall 2020 Finals, starting with the prize pool, then the teams, format, schedule and how you can watch all the action.

Prize pool

There's a total prize pool of 425,000 USD up for grabs at the BLAST Premier Fall 2020 finals, with the winner taking home more than half of the total prize pool.

The prize pool distribution:

  • 1st place - $225,000
  • 2nd place - $85,000
  • 3rd place - $40,000
  • 4th place - $25,000
  • 5th & 6th place - $15,000
  • 7th & 8th place - $10,000

The winner of the tournament also gets a spot in the BLAST Premier Global Finals, which is scheduled to begin on 18th January 2021 and has a prize pool of $1 million on the line.

The BLAST Premier Fall 2020 Finals are so stacked, in fact, that only one team (Heroic) in the top eight world rankings are not part of the tournament.

 

Format

Since there are only eight teams participating in the BLAST Premier Fall 2020 Finals, it makes sense the tournament would follow a double-elimination bracket.

All matches in the double-elimination bracket are best-of-three. At the time of writing, it is unclear if the grand finals will be best-of-three like many other major CS:GO tournaments, or if it will be best-of-three.

Schedule

The BLAST Premier Fall 2020 Finals is scheduled to run from 8th to 13th December 2020. Check out the first round of matches in UK time below. These are all the confirmed matchups so far.

  • 8th December at 15:30 – Team Vitality vs mousesports
  • 8th December at 18:30 – Na’Vi vs Astralis
  • 9th December at 12:30 – G2 Esports vs FURIA Esports
  • 9th December at 15:30 – OG vs BIG
