When it comes to CS:GO esports, 2021 will start with a bang, because January is reserved for BLAST Premier Global Finals.

Eight of the very best CS:GO teams in the world will fight for their share of the $1,000,000 USD prize pool at the first premier CS:GO event of the year.

Unfortunately, due to the ongoing outbreak of COVID-19, the planned LAN events are being cancelled and everything will be held online, including BLAST Premier Global Finals, but that doesn't mean that the event won't be epic.

With 8 of the world’s best esports teams, the world’s best players and biggest stars, we can expect nothing less than a spectacle.

Here's everything you need to know about the event.

The tournament will be a six-day event, starting 19th January and ending 24th January.

While the official schedule hasn't been released yet, judging by the previous BLAST Premier events with the same format and duration, we can expect the following schedule:

19th and 20th January - Upper bracket quarterfinals

21st January - Upper bracket semis and lower bracket round 1

22nd January - Lower bracket round 2

23rd January - Upper bracket final and lower bracket round 3

24th January - Lower bracket final and Grand Final.
