The CS:GO esports action for April 2021 just keeps on coming. From the Funspark ULTI Europe Final to the Perfect World League Season 1, there's no shortage of matches to watch. Just like with the Perfect World League Season 1 (for Asian teams) tournament, the CBCS Elite League Season 1 is also an RMR event giving Brazillian teams a shot to make it to the Stockholm Major coming later this year.

CBCS Elite League Season 1 Prize Pool

There's a total prize pool of 100,000 Brazillian Real (R$) up for grabs, as well as a tonne of RMR points. These RMR points teams can acquire will give themselves a shot at a spot in the Stockholm Major.

The prize pool and points distribution are:

  • 1st place - R$41,500 and 1,600 RMR points
  • 2nd place - R$16,500 and 1,500 RMR points
  • 3rd place - R$7,000 and 1,400 RMR points
  • 4th place - R$7,000 and 1,300 RMR points
  • 5th to 8th place - R$4,000 and 1,050 RMR points
  • 9th to 16th place - R$1,500

While the prize pool isn't huge at all, it is sure to be an exciting tournament due to the RMR points being up for grabs.

Teams in CBCS Elite League Season 1

A total of 16 Brazillian teams will compete in the CBCS Elite League Season 1.

MIBR are the clear favourites to win the entire competition. However, the scene is booming, so there's always a chance another one of the teams can claim victory. 

 

CBCS Elite League Season 1 Format

The CBCS Elite League Season 1 will follow a two-stage format. First up, we have the Group stage, which will be played in a 16 Team Swiss System Format. 

All matches in the Group stage is best-of-one, with the exception of elimination matches which are best-of-three. The top eight teams from the Group stage advance to the playoffs.

The playoffs will feature a standard, single-elimination bracket format. All matches in the playoffs of CBCS Elite League Season 1 is best-of-three.

CBCS Elite League Season 1 Schedule

The CBCS Elite League Season 1 is scheduled to run from 22nd April to 16th May 2021.

Each day, matches are scheduled to begin at roughly 20:00 GMT. The schedule for the first round of matches is in Brazil time via the image above.

 

How to watch CBCS Elite League Season 1

There are two streams (A & B) taking place for CBCS Elite League Season 1, where you can watch all the CS:GO esports action. This is due to the high number of matches being played.

At the time of writing, no English stream has been announced. However, you can check out the main stream on the CBCSBR Twitch channel, as well as the B stream on the secondary Twitch channel.
