The next CS:GO esports Major, PGL Antwerp 2022, kicks off on the 9th May 2022. Before the Major, there are RMR (Regional Major Rankings) events. The top teams from their respective regions, such as Asia RMR and Americas RMR, are competing for just a few spots at the PGL Antwerp Major 2022. The biggest of all the RMR events, featuring the best teams in the world, is the PGL Antwerp 2022 Europe A RMR.

PGL Antwerp Major Europe A RMR teams

A total of 16 teams are competing at the PGL Antwerp Major Europe A event. Some of the teams have qualified for this event thanks to their placement in the PGL Stockholm Major 2021, while others had to go through gruelling open qualifiers.

There are eight spots in the PGL Antwerp Major 2022 on the line, four of which are with Legend status. We expect Na'Vi, FaZe Clan, Team Vitality and Heroic to take these spots, but anything can happen with so much on the line.

The PGL Major  Antwerp 2022 Europe A RMR event runs from 17th to 20th April 2022. Matches start at 09:00 UTC time each day.

The tournament features a 16 Team Swiss System Format, and the Buchholz system is used to seed matches from Round 3 to 5.

All matches are best-of-one, with the exception of the Elimination and Advancement matches, which are best-of-three affairs.

There's a total prize pool of $95,000 up for grabs during the Europe A RMR event for PGL Antwerp. However, the biggest prize for the teams competing has to be the spots at the actual Major.

For this RMR event, there are four Legend status spots, and four Challenger status spots available, signifying just how strong the region is. Check out the prize pool distribution below. 

  • 1st place - $47,500 and Legend status.
  • 2nd place - $23,750 and Legend status.
  • 3rd place - $14,250 and Legend status.
  • 4th place - $9,500 and Legend status.
  • 5th to 8th place - Challenger status.
