Throughout your playthrough of Dave the Diver, you will be tasked to capture some special fish in a certain way.

There are a lot of people that you will meet in Dave the Diver. Some characters will ask you to catch fish for research and others want to eat certain fish. Eventually, you are going to be asked to capture the Horned Parrotfish, also known as the Humphead Parrotfish. Here, we are going to teach you how to capture the Horned Parrotfish.

How To Capture The Horned Parrotfish In Dave The Diver

In Dave the Diver, you will get a lot of different tools to capture fish alive. The key here is that you will be asked to capture the Horned Pufferfish alive and you do not want to kill it. Thankfully, you will have different tools to work with. It is important to note that Steel Net Sensor Traps will actually not work here as this fish will break through the traps.

You will want to instead put it to sleep using Hush Darts. Fire off a couple of these and the Horned Parrotfish will fall asleep. Just remember that this is an aggressive fish and it cannot be attacked from the front. You will need to attack it from the back to knock it out.

How To Find The Horned Parrotfish In Dave The Diver

Finding the Horned Parrotfish will be easy. You will be given a fish sensor and you can use it to locate the fish. But if you are wondering where to look, you will need to be in shallow waters. It lives around 0 to 50m of depth in The Blue Hole on the right side when you first dive into the water.

Just remember once you find it, you need to catch it alive. If you do not have any Hush Darts, try using the Sleepy Time Hammer. Or you can use your Harpoon Gun with a sleepy time tip. The last resort you can do is weaken it with your melee weapon and harpoon it normally, but you risk killing it if you do it this way.
