One of the most surprising games to come out in 2023 is Dave the Diver. The concept of Dave the Diver is pretty simple, you dive into the ocean to find sea creatures to serve at the sushi restaurant you manage at night. Despite its simplicity, it resonated with a lot of people, with the game even managing to sell 1 million copies within the first 10 days of launch.
There is a bit of randomness of how each dive will look in Dave the Diver and on top of that, there are a lot of items that you can collect in The Blue Hole. Sometimes, you are going to be asked to collect materials instead of fish. Here, we are going to go over how to find Tube Coral in Dave the Diver and what to do with it.
How To Find Tube Coral In Dave The Diver
There are a lot of different forms of materials that you can collect in Dave the Diver. A large majority of the materials you find will be things like glass and screws to make your weapons stronger. But sometimes, you need organic materials like coral for food and for upgrading your equipment as well.
Coral tends to grow on the ground and where you are will have different kinds of coral. To find Tube Coral, you will need to go to the whale bones that are in The Depths. The whale bones are located at 190m of depth and it is pretty close to the Sea Folk Village. This is the only location where you can find Tube Coral.
What To Do With Tube Coral In Dave The Diver
As you progress in Dave The Diver, you are going to meet more and more people that will have requests for you. Finding Tube Coral is part of those requests. A character named Mima who runs a restaurant in the Sea Folk Village will request that you will find some Tube Coral for her. Although this is a side mission, this is in relation to a main mission in Dave the Diver.
At some point in the game, you are going to want to try to gain the trust of the Sea Folk, and to do so, you will have to do little requests for them. This is one of those requests. Tube Coral also has other small uses in upgrading equipment, in food, and collecting ecological data in one of the apps you have on your phone in-game.
