Dave the Diver has become one of the most well-received games in 2023. It is not often that we get a surprise indie game that makes waves, but Dave the Diver did just that. The game sold over 1 million copies within the first 10 days of its release and for good reason. You play as Dave and your job is to catch fish for the sushi restaurant that you work for.

A big part of Dave the Diver is exploring The Blue Hole where you will catch a large variety of fish, with the available fish changing depending on how deep you dive. You can dive deeper with a better Diving Suit. But how much can you actually upgrade your Diving Suit in Dave the Diver? Here, we will go over that question for you.

What Is The Max Upgrade For The Diving Suit In Dave The Diver?

In Dave the Diver, you will recieve a large amount of equipment to assist your dives. From harpoon guns to regular guns to gloves, there are a lot of different equipment you need to consider for your dives. One of the most important pieces of equipment to upgrade is your Diving Suit. The better the wetsuit, the deeper you can dive in Dave the Diver.

So what is the max upgrade for the Diving Suit? You can upgrade your normal Diving Suit to level 6 which will let you dive up to 540m and make you less visible to fish. You will also eventually recieve a cold-resistant diving suit and when you max that out at level 2, you will be able to dive up to 800m.

Now the question eventually becomes, how do you actually upgrade your wetsuit in Dave the Diver? When you are first starting out the game, you will eventually recieve an app on your phone called the iDiver app. The iDiver app is the one-stop location that will allow you to upgrade the majority of your diving equipment.

You will need to use the money you earn to upgrade your Diving Suit through the iDiver app. You can earn money through the sushi restaurant or you can earn money by selling items through the Cobra Shop. Either way, it will take players a bit to upgrade their Diving Suits completely but it's worth it. The deeper the dive, the better fish you can catch.
