The Twins Power And Perks in Dead by Daylight

Before we delve into the best builds for The Twins,  let's look at this killer's power and teachable perks so you know what you're working with.

First, here are The Twins' three teachable perks:

Perk: Hoarder

  • Receive a notification whenever Survivors unlock a Chest or pick up an Item while in your vicinity. Spawn up to 2 additional Chests in the Trial.

Perk: Oppression

  • When damaging a generator, up to 3 random generators also start regressing. If one of those generators is being repaired, Survivors are faced with a difficult skill check.

Perk: Coup de Grace

  • Gain a token whenever a generator is completed. Each token grants a massively extended lunge attack.

Power: Blood Bond

The Twins' power is called "Blood Bond." The in-game description reads as follows:

  • As Charlotte, unleash and take control of Victor.
  • During this time, Charlotte falls dormant, losing her Terror Radius and Red Stain.
  • Victor moves at high speed and can attack with a long-distance Pounce. When a successful Pounce hits a healthy Survivor, Victor latches onto them and must be forcefully removed, while control shifts back to Charlotte.
  • Only Charlotte can hook downed Survivors.

The Best Twins Builds In Dead By Daylight

The Twins can track survivors and down them using Victor, who can cling to survivors and trigger Killer Instinct. These killers are good at camping, but can also chase survivors down using their dual power.

As such, there are many different ways you can play this killer. Here are just a few top Twins builds you can try if you want to experiment with their ability.

Beginner Twins Build

If you are just getting started as a new Twins main, it might be hard to decide which perks to use. Using this loadout on the Twins as a beginner will help you down survivors and find your footing.

  • Shattered Hope
  • Oppression (The Twins)
  • Hex: No One Escapes Death
  • Whispers

All of the perks included in this build are general perks, meaning they either come by default with The Twins or can be found in the Bloodweb of all killers without prestiging or reaching level 50.

Whispers ensure you can find survivors at all times, earning a quick hit as Charlotte or allowing you to jump on a survivor early on as Victor. Shattered Hope robs survivors of their boons, which allows them to heal, and Oppression provides a generator slowdown. Finally, Hex: No One Escapes Death gives you a boost at the end of the game in case you still need to earn those late-game kills.

Exhaustion Twins Build

Survivors' best tool to escape you in a chase is their Exhaustion perks, which allow them a boost of distance under certain circumstances. They can't use these, though, if they are Exhausted. This build focuses on inflicting survivors with the Exhaustion status effect so you can frequently get easy downs.

  • A Nurse's Calling (The Nurse)
  • Blood Echo (The Oni)
  • Deadlock (The Cenobite)
  • Deathbound (The Executioner)

Blood Echo keeps survivors deeply injured; it both Exhausts them and inflicts Hemorrhage, making it easy for you to find them and ensuring they can't easily run away. Deathbound will keep survivors Oblivious after healing, punishing them for mending their wounds. Deadlock provides both tracking and a bit of generator slowdown. Because all of the other perks in your loadout (save for Deadlock) encourage survivors to heal to get rid of their punishing wounds, A Nurse's Calling helps you find them as they're patching themselves up.

What Are The Best Perks For The Twins?

We've given you some builds to test out on The Twins, but you might be wondering what the best perks are on them.

A few of the best perks on The Twins in Dead by Daylight are:

  • Hex: Devour Hope (The Hag)
  • Corrupt Intervention (The Plague)
  • Jolt
  • Hex: No One Escapes Death
  • A Nurse's Calling (The Nurse)

We recommend mixing and matching the perks in the builds we've provided to create your favorite loadout. As you familiarize yourself with this killer, you'll determine which perks are your favorites and be able to mix and match these perks effectively.
