How To Enter The Dead By Daylight Cosmetic Contest 2023

Dead by Daylight's Cosmetic Contest is back for another year in 2023, inviting players to design their own cosmetics for killers and survivors. In this competition, Behaviour Interactive has tasked fans with the challenge of creating their own killer outfit, survivor outfit, and charms.

But this isn't simply just to show off your artistic skills. For each category, the winning design will be added to the game for players to collect and enjoy.

In this guide, we'll show you how to enter the Dead by Daylight Cosmetic Contest in 2023, as well as walk you through all of the rules and regulations you need to know before entering. 

How To Enter the Dead By Daylight Cosmetic Contest

To submit your entry, you'll just need to follow these steps:

1. Go to the page of the contest to which you're applying:
   
   1. Survivor Outfit
   2. Killer Outfit
   3. Survivor Charm
   4. Killer Charm
2. Enter your information. You'll need to type in your first and last name, email address, and country.
3. Click 'Upload your entry' and select your PSD file.
4. Check the box agreeing to the contest's rules.
5. Click submit.

That's it. If you want to submit an entry for multiple categories, you can complete a separate form and upload the relevant PSD file for each one.

Dead By Daylight Cosmetic Contest Rules

There are a few rules you'll need to follow while designing your killer or survivor outfit or charm. You'll need to make sure that the outfit is suited for the character you've designed it for, and you'll also need to make sure you don't use any characters, logos, or copyrighted materials from any media other than Dead by Daylight.

Each of the specific submission areas has different rules, too, so you'll want to check the individual pages for those specifications. For example, killer outfits should have significant amounts of detail and accessories, while charms should be a bit less detailed to be recognizable from a distance.

Submissions will remain open from 15 May 2023 at 12:00 a.m. ET until 12 June 2023 at 11:59 p.m. ET. The winner will be announced on 3 July on the official Dead by Daylight Twitter account. You'll only be able to enter the contest from Canada (excluding Quebec), USA, UK, Japan, France, and Germany.

Dead By Daylight Cosmetic Contest: Rewards

As the reward for this year's Dead by Daylight Cosmetic Contest, Behaviour will not only add the winning creations to the game but will also award each winner with 12,500 Auric Cells ($100 worth).
