Dead By Daylight Shrine of Secrets - Week of 23 August

Dead by Daylight's Shrine of Secrets refreshes each week, with four new perks - two for survivors and two for killers - for players to choose from.

Purchasing a perk from the Shrine of Secrets unlocks it for all killers or survivors, making buying perks from the Shrine a great choice for those who don't have all the characters unlocked or just want to reduce the grind. Here are all of the perks in the Shrine of Secrets for the week of 23rd August 2022.

Shrine of Secrets - Week of 23 August

The teachable perks in the Shrine for the week of 23rd August are:

• Aftercare (Jeff Johansen)
• Deliverance (Adam Francis)
• Dying Light (The Shape)
• Tinkerer (The Hillbilly)

As always, the perks include two survivor perks - Aftercare and Deliverance - and two killer perks - Dying Light and Tinkerer.

Perks in the Shrine of Secrets cost 2,000 Iridescent Shards for tier 1, 4,000 Shards for tier 2, and 6,000 Shards for tier 3.

Which Shrine of Secrets Perks Should I Buy?

This week, Deliverance is a great choice if you don't already own Adam Francis. Deliverance allows you to unhook yourself with a 100% success rate once you've already safely unhooked another survivor. This not only allows you to work toward achievements, like Not Today, but it's also overall just a great game-changing perk. Successfully unhooking yourself just once can completely change the outcome of a match, after all.

If you're looking to purchase a perk for your killers, Tinkerer is the better choice this week. Though it received a nerf in the recent Mid-Chapter update - it can no longer trigger more than once one each generator - it's still an incredibly useful tracking perk. Tinkerer alerts you when each generator reaches 75% completion.

If you can't decide between the available perks, you can always purchase more than one if you have the Shards to spare. Those are all of the perks in the Shrine of Secrets this week.
