How To Counter Albert Wesker In Dead By Daylight

Albert Wesker is one of the killers from the Resident Evil x Dead by Daylight chapters, and, when used correctly, his power is deadly. So how do you survive against him? Just because he's a powerful killer, doesn't mean you and your team cannot counter his Virulent Bound attacks and the Uroboros infection.

There are a few ways you can use the environment and strategy to your advantage in order to counter The Mastermind. In this article, we'll give you the advice you need to keep your team alive for longer against Resident Evil's Albert Wesker, also known as The Mastermind, in Dead by Daylight.

Predict The Mastermind's Virulent Bounds

Wesker can bound forward, throwing you into walls and injuring you if you're already infected, or throwing you across the map and infecting you with Uroboros in the process. If you're already fully infected with Uroboros, Wesker can grab you instantly if he hits you with the Virulent Bound, making it particularly powerful.

As such, you'll want to keep an eye out for Wesker's direction as he bounds toward you and attempt to hug corners tightly. If you're in an open space, do your best to bait him to use the attack while running to the side and avoiding it.

Stay Alone Against Wesker

Staying with other survivors against Wesker can be deadly, since he can throw survivors into one another and damage both of them with his Virulent Bound attack. As such, it's best to split up against Wesker.

This is the best strategy against many killers, anyway, since splitting up gives you the best chance of completing all five generators.

Use Your Eyes And Ears

Albert Wesker has a huge Terror Radius, meaning you can hear him coming from far away. At the same time, though, it might be hard to detect exactly when he is near enough to you to attack since you'll hear him coming from so far away.

Listen for the Terror Radius, but also use your eyes and keep an eye out for Wesker coming; he can bound toward you rapidly, and perks that make Wesker Undetectable are common, meaning you won't be able to hear him coming.

Those are just a few of the ways you can protect yourself and your team from Albert Wesker, The Mastermind, and hopefully escape more matches.
