Dead by Daylight's FOV slider is finally here, a feature that will make it easier for killers to see everything in their line-of-sight without using perks like Monitor & Abuse or Shadowborn (whose effects have been reworked). While only killers can use this feature thanks to their first-person point of view, it will no doubt make the game significantly more accessible for lots of players. Here's how to use and adjust Dead by Daylight's new FOV slider, and where to find it in your settings.

Currently, Dead by Daylight's FOV slider can be found in the Beta Tab of settings. To get there, you'll first have to open up the game and then click the small gear at the bottom, which says 'Settings' when you hover it. Next, you can click on the Beta tab up top and then view the FOV slider. At the time of writing, the FOV slider is the only feature on this page.

By clicking the arrows, you can adjust your FOV to make it lower or higher. The lowest possible FOV - and the default - is 87. You can turn it up all the way to 103. It's a good idea to experiment with different fields of view and see which ones you're most comfortable with. If you loved to use Shadowborn or The Doctor's Monitor & Abuse for their FOV-increasing effects before the perks' abilities were changed up, you'll definitely want to consider trying a higher FOV than 87.

Changing your FOV will make it different for all killers except The Good Guy, since the FOV slider is for first-person characters only. Because the slider is only for first-person, survivors also won't be able to use an FOV slider.

Once the FOV slider is out of beta, it'll likely be moved to Dead by Daylight's Accessibility section in its settings, alongside other features like the visual terror radius.
