The Dead by Daylight movie was just recently announced, and, as far as we know, filming has yet to even begin, so it's unlikely that we'll get an official release date soon. We speculate that the movie will probably come out sometime in 2024, but it's up in the air as producers have not said a word about the movie's planned release date.
Dead By Daylight Movie Cast
For now, no official cast list has been released for the Dead by Daylight movie, but it's possible that that will change in the near future. Considering Nicolas Cage was recently announced to be added to the game as a survivor, we could very well see him play a role in the film.
The Dead by Daylight movie will be made by James Wan and Jason Blum, under a collaboration between Behaviour Interactive, Blumhouse, and Atomic Monster.
Dead By Daylight Movie Plot
It's unknown what the Dead by Daylight movie plot might look like. It's very likely that the movie will take place in the Entity's Realm, but we don't know which characters might be featured; it could center around The Legion, such as in the upcoming Titan Comics series, or focus on other characters from the game like The Hillbilly.
It's also possible that the studios could take a completely different route with the plot, introducing new characters to face The Fog.
