Dead By Daylight PVE Game Coming Soon From Midwinter Games

To add to the long list of major announcements made during Dead by Daylight's 7th-anniversary celebration, Midwinter Games is releasing a PVE game set in the Dead by Daylight universe.

"One of the things we love most about Dead by Daylight is the infinite possibilities," explained Mary Olson, Studio Head at Midwinter Games. 

Instead of asymmetrical gameplay, the PVE experience will allow players to team up together against a collective enemy in a collaborative multiplayer experience. 

"The themes in our game center around greed and the lust for power," said Audrey Mladina, Producer at Midwinter Games.

"These will be present in both the gameplay itself, and in the stories of the characters attempting to enter a strange new corner of the Entity's realm."

According to the announcement, the project is still in its early stages, so we doubt the game will release anytime soon. Alongside the upcoming Midwinter Games PVE release, Behaviour Interactive has also teamed up with Supermassive Games for an upcoming single-player release that will feature all new characters.
