How To Get Fuses In Dead Island 2

Fuses can power up optional locked doors in Dead Island 2. Here's where you can find them.
How To Get Fuses In Dead Island 2

In Dead Island 2, you will constantly be on the lookout for Circuit Breakers, Batteries, and Fuses. Batteries are great for dealing electric damage and can often be found on cars. Circuit Breakers can power up certain gates and are usually lying near these gates.

Fuses also power up certain locked doors, but they are mostly optional. Furthermore, all these fuse rooms contain rare weapons that you shouldn't sleep on. But where do you find a fuse in Dead Island 2's post-apocalyptic LA?

You can get a fuse by purchasing it from one of the game's many traders. There's at least one trader in every major region in the game, and each of them will have three fuses in stock at any given time. Each costs $1500

While they seem pricey, it's worth investing in them, as it will net you better rewards. If you don't like the weapons you find in these locked rooms, you can always sell them to one of the traders for a relatively high price. It's a sweet deal!

The trader will temporarily run out of stock if you purchase all their fuses. However, you can reset their fuse stock if you travel back and forth between two districts.

You won't find a trader in every district of the game though you will often run into locked doors that require fuses to power up. As such, it's best to stock up on them whenever you can before venturing into new territory.

In our playthrough, we haven't stumbled upon fuses while exploring the open world. This means the only way to acquire them in the game is to buy them from a trader. We will, however, update this article if we find other ways to obtain a fuse.
