Motive Studio's remake of the fan-favorite horror title is, without a doubt, a complete remake, not a "remaster," and early impressions are looking fantastic. That's why you might want to know the global launch times for Dead Space, alongside pre-load details.

This article explains exactly when the Dead Space remake will launch in your region and when you can start the pre-load on PC, Xbox, and PlayStation consoles, alongside the file size, so let's get started.

The Dead Space remake launches on 27 January 2023, but gamers in some regions will only get to play it early in the morning on 28 January. 

The developers have revealed the exact launch times per region for the Dead Space remake, so you can now set your alarms and mark your calendars with confidence. Check out the launch times below.

  • 10:00 CST on 27 January (Mexico City)
  • 11:00 EST on 27 January (New York)
  • 13:00 BST on 27 January (São Paulo)
  • 16:00 GMT on 27 January (London)
  • 17:00 CET on 27 January (Berlin)
  • 00:00 CST on 28 January (Beijing)
  • 00:00 HKT on 28 January (Hong Kong)
  • 01:00 JST on 28 January (Tokyo)
  • 03:00 AEDT on 28 January (Sydney)

Dead Space Pre-Load Times Per Platform & File Size

Pre-load for the Dead Space remake is already available on Xbox Series X/S consoles. The pre-load start date and time for the game on PC and PS5 are 08:00 PT on 25 January 2023.

As for the Dead Space remake file size on all platforms, it should be just over 31 GB as per the confirmed pre-load size of the game on Xbox Series X. Keep in mind that this might be a bit bigger or smaller for PC and PS5. We suspect PS5's pre-load size will be smaller due to the compression tech in Sony's current-gen console.
