Destiny 2 Best Hive Farm Locations

The Hive are an ancient and mysterious race in Destiny 2 that worships the Darkness. Here are the best places to farm them.
Destiny 2 Best Hive Farm Locations

Of all the unique alien races in Destiny 2, the Hive is undoubtedly the most mysterious one (and also the most deadly). They are an ancient cult that worships the Darkness, the evil entity Guardians have been fighting since Destiny 1.

Unlike Cabal or the Fallen, you will find Hive only on a few planets within the Destiny universe. As such, if you want to hunt these mysterious evil cultists for seasonal challenges, bounties, or quests, here's our guide explaining the best places to farm Hive in Destiny 2.

Best places to farm Hive in Destiny 2

In Destiny 2, you will primarily find Hive on the Moon. They also have a strong presence in some parts of the Throne World, but we recommend checking the Moon first.

On the Moon, you will find Hive pretty much everywhere you go, so explore and hunt to your heart's content. If you want to farm Hive quickly in abundance, we recommend trying the Altars of Sorrow Public Event.

You will find plenty of red bar and yellow bar Hive enemies here, which means this should be your go-to activity to farm them. The best thing about Altars of Sorrow is that you don't have to wait for the event to start. Simply approach the location and it will kick off.

The Scarlet Keep Strike in the Moon is also a great way to farm Hive in Destiny 2. As mentioned previously, anywhere on the Moon is great to get some Hive kills though the same can't be said about other planets in Destiny 2.

You will find Hive in The Throne World as well. This includes the new Light-wielding Lucent Hives. You can farm them pretty much anywhere in The Throne World. This includes Public Events, Lost Sectors, weekly Campaign missions, and more.

Exploring these areas and completing the activities within them should get you enough Hive kills to complete any objective in the game.

And that concludes our guide on the best places to farm Hive in Destiny 2.
