Bungie officially revealed the latest Destiny 2 season, Season of the Haunted, after an internal slip-up spoiled the surprise for fans, with a trailer scheduled to be released on 24th May.
Now that the cat's out of the bag, the developers gave players a better look at everything they can expect from the return of Calus and his iconic ship, the Leviathan, which has its eyes set on the Moon's Pyramid.
Of course, one of the more interesting aspects is the release of a fresh season pass. In line with previous ones, the season 17 pass features both paid and free versions, boasting some exciting rewards for both.

How much does the season pass cost in Destiny 2?
The Season of the Haunted season pass costs 1,000 Silver or approx. US$10.

As mentioned, there is both a free and paid track, Bungie has provided details on what both contain with a helpful infographic.
Season of the Haunted season pass - All tiers
There are a total of 100 tiers, both paid and free, to grind out, featuring massive rewards along the way. Take a look at all of them down below.
When does the Season of the Haunted pass end?
Each Destiny 2 season lasts around three months, for Season of the Haunted, festivities start on 24th May, lasting until 23rd August.
There are plenty of ways to increase your XP. Weekly and daily bounties as well as completing seasonal challenges will net you the most XP.
Furthermore, after each weekly reset, you'll receive a massive XP boost while levelling your first five levels during that week. Playing with teammates will also give you a small XP boost.
All in all, grinding the Destiny 2 season pass is easier than you might expect, so casual players can take their time without feeling overwhelmed while trying to complete it and earn all the rewards.
