All Destiny 2 Dreaming City Region Chest Locations

The Dreaming City holds many secrets in Destiny 2. Introduced during the Forsaken expansion, this area is the home world of the Awoken race. You will come across twelve different region chests in the Dreaming City. Most of them are fairly straightforward to find, provided you know where to look for them. 

These region chests usually contain planetary materials and Glimmer. However, do keep in mind that these chests can be looted once per character. After you've looted the chests, the next time you go to these locations, the chests won't spawn. Having said that, here are all the region chest locations in the Dreaming City in Destiny 2.

All Destiny 2 Dreaming City Region Chest Locations 

Unlike other explorable areas on the map, the Dreaming City has four region chests in every sub region on the map. The entire location is divided into three main zones, namely: Divalian Mists, The Strand and Rheasilva. The locations of each of the region chests in these zones are as follows: 

Divalian Mists

• For the first chest, make your way to the entrance to the Blind Well. Look for a cave hidden behind a rock formation. The first chest should be inside this cave.
• For the second chest, make your way to the spawn point, then head left and follow the cliffside. The chest is on a ledge near a broken Awoken statue here. 
• The third chest can be found close to the Hive Cryptolith. There's a cave on the left. Head inside the cave and loot the third chest. 
• The fourth chest can be found on the northeastern part of the region. It's located on a cliff right before you enter Rheasilva.

Rheasilvia

• From the entrance to Rheasilvia, head left and follow the cliffside. The chest is on a ledge near a tree. You might need to use some Exotics like the ST0MP-EE5 for the Hunters to reach the ledge though. 
• Near the entrance to Harbinger's Seclude, look for a small cave hidden behind some rocks.
• In the area with the large bridge, climb the rocks on the left side to find the chest on a high ledge.
• For the fourth chest, head over to the first bridge in the Rheasilva region. Jump down and turn around, to see a cave. Make your way inside this cave and walk down the left path to find the region chest. 

The Strand

• From the entrance to The Strand, head right and follow the cliffside. The chest is on a ledge and is hidden behind a tree cluster.
• Below Petra Venj's camp, you'll notice that there's a dirt path that breaks into three separate branches. The left path will lead you to a cavern with the region chest. 
• To the west of the Strand, you'll notice some rock formations with a crack in them. Head inside the crack to collect the third chest. 
• The final chest can be found right behind Petra Venj when she's at The Strand.
