How To Get The Cloudstrike Catalyst In Destiny 2

Destiny 2 Season of the Seraph brings an array of new seasonal activities, weapons, armor, and other nuances that should give new and veteran players an incentive to return to Bungie's looter shooter.

Like every Destiny 2 season before, Season of the Seraph also adds new ornaments and catalysts for existing weapons. One powerful weapon that gets the catalyst treatment is the Cloudtrike exotic sniper rifle. Here's how you can get it.

How to acquire the Cloudstrike catalyst in Destiny 2

You can acquire the Cloudstrike catalyst by running playlist activities. This includes Strikes, Gambit, and the Crucible. We can't yet confirm which of these activities have a higher chance of dropping it. As of now, it seems the drop is random among all activities.

The Cloudstrike catalyst adds the Triple Tap trait to the weapon, which returns one round to the magazine on rapidly landing precision hits.

The Cloudstrike has always been a powerful weapon, thanks to its Stormbringer trait that allows it to summon a deadly lightning storm. Now, because of the catalyst, it's an even better choice for PvP and end-game PvE activities.
