While this may seem too good to be true, especially since you can't even get some of the "free" exotics like the Osteo Striga SMG without grinding for hours, you can actually get the Coldheart Exotic Trace Rifle for free without breaking a sweat. Steps to acquire the Coldheart Exotic Trace Rifle for free in Destiny 2

The Coldheart Exotic Trace Rifle is part of Bungie's reward program, which you can access via Bungie's official website. Once you have accessed the website, head towards the Reward tab and select "Claim Digital Rewards."

In the "Digital Rewards" section, look for Bungie's Reward pack #1. Claim it to get not only the Coldheart Exotic Trace Rifle and its catalyst but also an Exotic Ghost "Sanctum Plate Shell" and a Legendary Ship "Talon Blue."

Before claiming the rewards, make sure you're logged in with the Bungie account you use to play Destiny 2. You will also need to verify your email before you get to claim the rewards.
