How To Get Map Fragments In Destiny 2 Season of the Plunder

Like every new Destiny 2 season, Season of the Plunder introduces a range of new activities for you to complete, new seasonal weapons and armor to acquire, and more. There are new resources as well, which you will have to farm to progress missions and focus on new seasonal gear.

Destiny 2 Season of the Plunder is a pirate-themed season, and one of the new resources is called Map Fragments. You will need Map Fragments to restore Treasure Maps in Captain's Atlas and progress the seasonal quest.
If you're playing the new Destiny 2 season, and have no idea how to acquire these valuable resources, don't fret. Here's our guide that will explain how to get map fragments in Destiny 2 Season of the Plunder.

To get map fragments in Destiny 2 Season of the Plunder, you will have to grind the new seasonal six-player activity called Ketchcrash. After defeating the final boss in Ketchcrash, open the chest to gain a handful of Map Fragments and other loot.

Every run of Ketchcrash will reward you 10-11 Map Fragments, which isn't much, so you will probably have to do 3-4 runs of Ketchcrash every week to get the required amount of Map Fragments.

As mentioned above, you will need Map Fragments to restore Treasure Maps in Captain's Atlast. In the beginning, you will require 5 Map Fragments to restore a basic treasure map, but higher variants of it will require more of this new resource, so get grinding!

And that's everything you need to know about acquiring Map Fragments in Destiny 2. If you're new to Destiny 2, know that the game's seasonal model is a bit overwhelming to get used to.

There are plenty of resources, bounties, and seasonal challenges to keep track of, but that's why we are here to guide you with everything.
