In most past seasons of Destiny 2, players immediately unlocked the new Season Exotic at the start of the season. Unlocking these weapons each season did not require players to complete any special quests or fulfill any prerequisites.

This season, though, things will be different. Players will need to unlock the Revision Zero Exotic weapon for themselves during Season 19, and it won't just be given to them. Starting 20th December 2022, players will have access to a series of brand new quests that will allow them access to the new Revision Zero.

Catalysts in Destiny 2 are a type of mod that can be applied to Exotic guns to increase their stats, as well as activate a special unique ability.

Catalysts are powerful on every Exotic gun, but the Revision Zero takes things to a whole new level. Players will be able to equip multiple catalysts on the Revision Zero, though it's unknown how many of them can be activated at one time.
