Strand Meditations is a new currency in Destiny 2 Lightfall, required to unlock various aspects of subclasses such as their fragments, grenades, and other upgrades. There are a total of 14 Destiny 2 Strand Fragments, and every player will need 2800 Meditations to unlock the upgrades.

For instance, unlocking a new grenade requires you to spend 50 Strand Meditations, and the Fragments cost 200 Strand Meditations each. Contrary to the Light-based subclasses, players cannot obtain them through Glimmer. With that said, here are some of the reliable ways to get Strand Meditations in Destiny 2.

How Do You Get Strand Meditations in Destiny 2?

There are multiple ways to get this new currency in Destiny 2 Lightfall. Defeating the enemies using Strand abilities enables the foes to drop Strand Meditations. If taking the fight isn't for you, then it's best to upgrade Nimbu's reputation rank to 18, which rewards the players with 200 Strand Meditations. You can locate Nimbus near the waypoint of Strider's Gate.

Also, while participating in the Vex Incursion Zone public events during gameplay of the Lightfall expansion in Neomuna, you have the chance to acquire Strand Meditations. During the public event, your primary objective is to stop Vex's Incursion Invasion. Upon successful completion of this specific event, you will be rewarded with Strand Meditations.

Finally, completing the Lighfall campaign gives you 300 Strand Meditations, but there's a catch. One must play the campaign on the Legend difficulty instead of the normal difficulty setting.
